Our History

In 1985 Hobie Iselin, Bob Reckman, and Bob Walker combined their many years of construction and remodeling experience to form a new kind of Construction Company. The concept was that while each of the three owners would design and manage his own projects, each could also draw from the shared labor resources that a larger company would provide.

We maintain a skilled, year-round work force and have the flexibility to take on larger, more complex, and often unusual projects.

Our professional office staff manages state-of-the-art accounting and estimating systems. Each partner is involved in the day-to-day management of his projects, and is responsible for all phases of a project from initial client contact to total client satisfaction.

Bob Reckman has recently retired, and Stephen D. Ross, who worked as a Construct carpenter and then project manager from 1988 until 2006, has now joined Construct as a co-owner.
