Stephen Ross moved to the valley from central Massachusetts in 1969. Living in the hill towns of Western Massachusetts, Stephen attended and graduated from the Hampshire Regional School District. After several years working in the service industry. Stephen’s construction career began in property management, before he found his calling in the building and remodeling industry, where he apprenticed with some of the Pioneer Valley’s most skilled carpenters and builders.
In 1988 Stephen was hired as a carpenter by Construct Associates, Inc.
His craftsmanship can be seen throughout the valley, in many downtown Northampton commercial locations and dozens of fine residential projects throughout the Valley and from coast to coast. Stephen’s management skills were recognized early by the owners of Construct, and over the years he has been project manager of many of Construct’s most prominent projects. In April of 2006 Construct was honored to have Stephen join Bob Walker and Hobie Iselin as a partner in Construct Associates, Inc.
Besides his passion for renovation and restoration, Stephen’s interests include boating, fishing, and golf. Stephen resides in the Florence section of Northampton with his wife Melissa and their two children.
