Bob Walker, known to all as “Walker”, is a native of Long Island and attended the State University of New York at Albany as an under- graduate. He attended the graduate program in art at the University

Walker’s community activities have included many years as a member of the Executive Board of the Northampton Center for the Arts. He is currently a member of the Central Business Architecture Committee. He also served on a committee for the City to study the re-use of the South St. School, committee for the development of the Design Guidelines for Downtown Northampton Central Business District, and the building committee for the recent Northampton YMCA addition.
